Hi Folks,
I hope everyone has been catching up on their readings if they’ve fallen behind. I’ve posted your course status HERE. Groups One & Two, your presentation grades were bumped up a couple of percent.
Your attendance grades includes Wed’s class – I’m assuming everyone will be there to pick up the take-home exam (everyone must attend – the exam will not be posted or emailed).
See you Wed!

Dear Students,
Dear Students,
Here is some follow-up from our discussion in class yesterday about what happens if there is a strike.
After talking more with some of you, and doing some reading about roles & rights for students, faculty, admin & unit 1 union members – this is what I’ve decided to do:
The lecture slides for the next two weeks have been posted to the schedule on the blog. Again, I encourage you to keep up with your readings.
For presentations – it is totally up to the group if they want to send in the presentation packages on their scheduled presentation date. This makes sense if you want to keep up and stay on top of things. But, I won’t be looking at them or grading them until the strike is over.
Have a good weekend folks.
Tracy
Hi Folks,
fyi – I’m having trouble loading the slides for today’s lecture – no response from Brock’s server. I might be emailing them to your Brock accounts. Also, I won’t be in my office today during office hours. Email me if you need anything.
See you in class.

Hi Folks,
I’ve added some additional resources to the Critical Thinking page. In particular, a chart that should help you move from descriptive to analytical thinking.
I see that most of you are not using this page/these resources, which is unfortunate. Please look these resources, they are intended to help you for ALL your university courses, not just this one. This is a vital skill that you will need in order to succeed at the university level.
thks.
Tracy
